Bid teams and agencies submitting consultant CVs for EU tenders

CV formatting for EU tender submissions

Tlntly builds anonymised consultant CVs for an EU tender: one agency layout, identifying details removed the way you choose, and each profile tailored to the tender text. You upload the CVs you already have, review every one, and export a PDF.

Tender

Public-sector framework. First-round CVs must hide the consultant name and current employer.

Candidate

A long consulting CV with a personal email, a mobile number, and a client name in every role.

Score use

Match the CV to the tender text and see which assignments belong near the top.

Submission result

One branded PDF, anonymised, with the relevant work easy to find.

Why tender CVs are painful

A tender pack wants the same CV shape on every consultant, identifying details handled the same way, and the experience pointed at this tender.

The files that arrive are the opposite. Layouts differ, a phone number sits in a footer, and the project an evaluator needs is buried under years of other work.

Doing that by hand means three jobs at once: one shared format, a careful anonymisation pass, and a rewrite against the tender text.

  • One format so a panel can compare consultants
  • Anonymisation you can switch on and read before you export
  • A summary and skill list that follow the tender, with the original CV kept
  • A PDF you can still correct before it goes in the pack

How Tlntly handles a tender CV

Add the tender requirements as a vacancy. Upload the consultant CVs as PDF or Word. Tlntly reads each file, scores the person against that vacancy, and can create a tailored version for it.

Anonymisation sits on the CV. Partially anonymous clears the name, email, phone, and LinkedIn, reduces location to a region and country, and rewrites the summary. Fully anonymous also replaces employer and institution names, including inside the role text, with a generic description. The downloaded PDF matches the view you have open.

The look is set once for the whole organization: Classic, Sidebar, or Dense, plus logo, color, font, spacing, and section order. Every preview and export uses that setup. Do the work in the recruiter CV tool. A slate of consultants against one tender is the same idea as bulk CV formatting: each CV is processed on its own, against that vacancy. Sign up to run a real pack through it.

What you still do yourself

You still read the tailored text. The tailor is told to keep the candidate wording and not to invent skills. The original CV stays, and the variant is editable.

Export is a PDF in Classic, Sidebar, or Dense. If the buyer wants a Europass file or a European Commission form, that document is prepared outside Tlntly. There is no ATS connection and no Word export.

You can select several PDF or Word files in one upload. Each file becomes its own job, and you can attach the same vacancy. There is no zip upload.

FAQ

Can I anonymise a consultant CV for a tender?

Yes. On the CV, choose Partially anonymous or Fully anonymous. Partial clears the name, email, phone, and LinkedIn, reduces location to a region and country, and rewrites the summary. Full also replaces employer and institution names in the roles. Certification text is left as written. Export the PDF while that view is open. The download uses the CV on screen.

How do anonymised consultant CVs stay in one format?

Set Classic, Sidebar, or Dense once, with the logo, color, font, spacing, and section order. Those settings apply to every CV the organization previews or exports. The editor has those three templates. A Europass CV or a European Commission form is a different document.

Can each CV be tailored to the tender requirements?

Yes. Store the tender text as the vacancy. Tlntly scores the candidate against it and can write a variant: a new summary, skills ordered by how they match the vacancy, and light edits to the experience. It is instructed not to invent skills. You can add a tailoring note, a tone, or a style before it runs, then edit the result.

Can I process a consultant slate for one tender?

You can drop several PDF or Word CVs at once and attach the same vacancy, so each file is parsed and can be tailored to that tender. Each file runs as its own job. This is not a zip upload, and the product does not name a batch size. You still review each PDF.

Does the export follow an official EU tender template?

The file is a Tlntly PDF in Classic, Sidebar, or Dense, with your logo and brand settings. It is not a Europass CV and not a European Commission form. There is no ATS connection and no Word export.
